Bet you wish you were Oprah Winfrey's dogs right now, cause they could be headed to the Four Seasons Hotel.

Her dogs are holed up at her Montecito estate, and even though her home is not threatened immediately, she's taking precautions.
"I don't have kids," she told her audience during a show taping this AM. "So the most important thing for me is my dogs." Lucky for the Queen's pooches, she already had a plan in place -- her dogs go to a nearby Four Seasons hotel.

Assuming fires don't ravage them, Oprah Winfrey and Rob Lowe have some pretty nice houses in Montecito to return home to.

Oprah purchased her 14,000 square foot house back in 2001 for a reported $55 million. It features six bedrooms and 14 bathrooms. Lowe's $25 million estate sits on a 242,193 square foot lot.
Thus far, the fires haven't reached either home. Fire knows better than to mess with O.

Oprah Winfrey's Montecito estate is not in immediate danger, at least so far.
Her 45-acre estate (which is about three miles from the center of the fire) has not been evacuated, but as one person on scene said, "No one in the area is safe." We're told Winfrey is not in Montecito -- she's in Chicago, taping her show. Her peeps at Harpo say, "At this point, Oprah Winfrey's property has not been affected by the fire."
Also, Rob Lowe's estate is safe, so far. There are scores of celebs who live in that area and the fate of their homes is unknown. As one person on scene put it, "When daylight hits, this story is going to get a lot worse."

Jennifer Aniston appeared on Oprah today, and she actually talked. And smiled!

The two not only discussed Jen dating John Mayer, but they also talked about her feelings toward Brad Pitt and Angelina Joile. Oprah definitely has the power to get people to talk about anything.

Forget Rahm, Oprah's gonna be Obama's host whisperer. Yet she just won't admit the depth of her power.

Everything Oprah Winfrey puts her hands on turns to gold.

This guy, Sam Perry, is now famous because Oprah leaned on him during election night in Chicago. He got to experience two of the perks yesterday -- appearing on her show and getting the papper treatment afterwards.
Be careful though Sam -- the spell does eventually wear off (see: Phil, Dr.).

The man whose shoulder Oprah Winfrey used to cry on at Barack Obama's victory rally was a total stranger -- but we found out who he is.

Sam Perry, a corporate development consultant, happened to be in the right place at the right time and comforted lady O as she cried for joy.
Stedman better watch his step.
UPDATE 4:43 PM ET -- O and Perry have already set up a second date -- on her show! He'll appear on Friday's episode.

Oprah Winfrey called into "The Ed Lover Show" on Power 105 this morning and confessed she already has a dress she picked out for Barack Obama's inauguration. Counting your chickens before they hatch, O?

Blimey! Could Oprah Winfrey give up her post as Queen of All Media to be ... Barack Obama's British ambassador?
Yeah, we know it sounds ridiculous -– and the Financial Times admits it does, too –- but "well-placed sources" are floating the rumor. They argue since O's been such an ardent B.O. proponent, she could have her pick of plum embassy jobs.
The FT also says the smart money is on Caroline Kennedy, whose granddad also served in the post -- if ingloriously.

Oprah showed a lot of restraint outside of "All My Sons" on Broadway this weekend. Not only did she hold back from telling everyone what she really felt about Katie Holmes' panned performance, even more shocking -- she then turned down a candy bar!

Oprah Winfrey's mom is refusing to pay back a $155K bill to a clothing store, and her defense is basically to play dumb.
Vernita Lee claims she shouldn't have to pay the gigantic bill to Valentina, a boutique in Wisconsin, because they took advantage of her "lack of knowledge ... and/or capacity" when they opened the account, reports the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. What's more, her lawyer says the store didn't disclose finance charges prominently enough.
And to think, this could all go away with the change lying around Oprah's chintz-covered cushions.

We're confused. Gayle King said the whole "Sarah won't be on Oprah during the campaign" thing was a "nasty internet rumor." But Oprah gave us a statement saying exactly that. And then the photog confessed he had a crush on Palin ... and Gayle was suspicious ...

Oprah has issued a statement to TMZ -- she won't put Sarah Palin on her show until after the election.
Here's the statement: "The item in today's Drudge Report is categorically untrue. There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over."
For the record, Barack Obama has been on "Oprah" twice -- in January, 2005 and again in October, 2006 -- before he announced his run for Prez.

There is a war brewing behind the scenes at the Oprah Winfrey show, one that could force Oprah to break her allegiance with Barack Obama -- so Sarah Palin can get some face time.

According to the DrudgeReport.com, members of Oprah's sharply-divided staff are putting serious pressure on the talk show queen to book the first woman on a Republican ticket -- but not everybody is on-board.
A Winfrey insider tells Drudge, "Oprah's website is getting tons of requests to put her on, but Oprah and a couple of her top people are adamantly against it because of Obama."
But after Sarah's star-making coming-out party, how can Oprah NOT book her? Decisions... decisions...
So far, O's peeps refused to comment.

... Oprah and her alleged longtime lover Stedman Graham -- TOGETHER!

Oprah and Stedman were seen doing the Pledge of Allegiance at something called the 20th Reunion Festival in New Jersey over the weekend.
Wait until Gayle hears about this!
