Quiet Riot Singer Found Dead in His Vegas Home

DubrowLas Vegas Metro Police have confirmed to TMZ that 52-year-old Kevin Dubrow, lead singer for 80's metal band Quiet Riot, was found dead in his Las Vegas home.

We're told one of Dubrow's neighbors found the singer Sunday around 5:20 PM. The Clark County Coroner confirms to TMZ that they are currently examining Dubrow's body to try to determine the cause of death.

Fellow band member Frankie Banali posted this message on his website: "I can't even find words to say. Please respect my privacy as I mourn the passing and honor the memory of my dearest friend, Kevin DuBrow."

Quiet Riot was the first metal band to top the Billboard charts and are perhaps best known for their cover of "Cum on Feel the Noize"

197. To the person who was "Wondering" if Dr. Terry Dubrow is Kevin's brother, the answer is yes. I grew up with them. I remember asking their mom (Laura) what it was like being the mother of a rock star and a doctor (not too many mom's can make that claim!) and she said her life was certainly always interesting. She was also Kevin's manager. While we are talking about family here, I'd like to say to all of you unbelievably horrible, dumbass, lowlife, zero class bottom feeders that you have no business having access to a computer and/or the internet. Keep on drinking and doing drugs while you rot in front of the monitor. I'll mourn your early death, but the world doesn't need your hate. To the rest of us who obviously have compassion I can assure you Kevin's family appreciates your kind words. Thanks Kevin....it was fun riding skateboards and listening to music with you. Your stereo was always better than mine anyway! Rest in peace my childhood friend........

198. Kevin was a dear friend of mine for many many years. I spent the biggest portion of my teenage years either hanging out with him, on the phone with him or watching him play with Randy and Quiet Riot. Anyone who knew him as a friend loved him dearly and deeply and is hurting right now. Dave - Drums Only Dave, I believe you are also my friend from Downey.

199. Please show respect. You may not like the music, but respect the man. My wife and I met Kevin and his band a few years back, and you could not ask for a nicer, considerate person.

204. So sorry to hear of Kevin's death. I'm approaching 40, and QR's music brings back so many memories from my teenage years. Music was so much more upbeat back then. Nowadays, it seems like the music of the same genre is so depressing, all about pain and anger. You will be missed, Kevin. My condolences to all of your family and friends. Rest in Peace. :(

208. To slick black cadillac, and Brittney's Dad...you guys are messed up. Somewhere out there there are people who were close to Kevin, and mourn his passing. It's people like you, who when they die, others will say... "It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!"

209. Why do rockstar deaths always happen in threes? Quiet Riot's Kevin DuBrow, Hawthorne Heights' Casey Calvert and now...

210. It's sad to hear anyone passes... Imagine that happening to any of your closest friends or a family member. I say this to those who can seem to respect even the dead, the fact that you don't like a band, type of music does not give you the right to say some of the things I see written here,
