Fleetwood Hack -- Lindsay Muffs Karaoke Tune

Lindsay Lohan is really gunning for that Stevie Nicks movie role.

A day after word surfaced that La Lohan was interested in starring in (and possibly producing) a biopic of the Fleetwood Mac songstress, the red-haired party vixen was heard singing a Nicks song at celeb DJ Samantha Ronson's karaoke night at Guy's in Beverly Hills.

Lohan rocked out to "Edge of Seventeen," which she also covered on her latest album. But if she wants the to play Stevie, she'd better learn the lyrics -- co-singer Ronson was heard saying, "The song's like eight minutes long ... we don't know the rest."

The venom people are displaying toward Lindsay Lohan, an actress who consistently entertains in the movies she chooses and who is simply living life about like anyone else would in her position, is enough to make me sick to my stomach. I like her and her movies. There are others I could name who definitely have more talent--Kate Winslet comes to mind, and Renee Zellweger--but Lindsay Lohan doesn't deserve a vast majority of the hatred she receives. It happens every time people gather around to talk about someone more successful than they are at a career they're sure they could do so very, very well at. I'm starting to think I won't come to TMZ (something you all would probably like a lot) if I can't at least expect some general level of human decency among more than three or four of the people who respond to a story like this.

32. i have heard a lot of people that hate this idea. there is over 200 of them emialing me say that they don't wont her to play the beautiful and wonderful stevie nicks. so i guess what i am saying is if they want any money off this movie they should think long and hard about who plays stevie. and i mean long and hard.

35. I seriously doubt that LL will be given the chance to play Stevie. I mean come on, it's beyond ridiculous. It's kind of like asking a member of a "boy band" to portray Jimi Hendrix. Stevies fans are very protective of her, and we certainly don't want to see our girl played by such a silly little pop tart. We want to see someone play her that has more artistic depth, mystery, and that extra special touch of magic. LL has none of those qualities. If she does get the role? All I can say LL.....is good luck.....you're going to need tons and tons of it!!!!!!
